Hello, I'm Steven.
I'm a self-employed complementary therapist based in Tavistock, Devon at the peaceful Tavistock Therapy Centre and in the White Room, both in 3 Abbey Place.
Trained in London at City Lit and the London School of Massage, I'm a member of the CThA (Complementary Therapists Association) and am fully insured, so you can rest assured that you're in safe hands.
ABOUT ME
My aim with every client is to provide a truly tailored experience that is focussed entirely on you. Your privacy, comfort and care are of utmost importance to me, and I take great pride in paying attention to detail and considering the whole experience.
I'm passionate about massage, used as a therapy for body, mind and soul. I believe in harnessing nature's own methods of self care through aromatherapy, and I'm fascinated by the power of energy – both what makes the world tick and yet also magical. To me, working with energy in a treatment setting seems so sensible and right.
I'm an approachable, friendly and caring professional who likes to inject a bit of fun and humour into client sessions. I truly believe I'm lucky to have found an occupation I love, and I hope this comes across in the treatments I give. Your wellbeing is paramount to me and my ultimate goal is for you to leave each session feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to take on the world.
After a few health concerns I booked to see Smallwood Therapies. I had such a wonderful experience. Steve really listened to my concerns and I felt heard and not just like another customer.
